As part of my course in Film and Video design, my sub major at the University of Technology Sydney, I learn't the basics of animation which in turn helped inform my film creation skills. I still use these skills to help in creation of web and graphic media. Using programs like Flash to make this easier. But I still utilise the basic stop motion aspects in some of my work. Below you will be able to view the animations I have done to date. |
my first animation |
| This was the first animation I ever did when I found out I could do stop animation using Adobe Premiere and my new video camera attached via fire wire. Basic fun and reminds me of stuff from children's shows like sesame street. |
eye into egg |
| This was our first exercise in animation morphing an object from one into the other using about ten frames that we had to free hand draw then align and shoot to create the animation. Although very basic I really like this animation. |
A night at the pier |
| As an introductory lesson to making films at UTS we had to create a one minute animation of any sort. I created an animaiton using the age old technique of stop motion. Using paper and cardboard cut outs to create a story of "A Night at the Pier" with two lovers. This was based on a painting I had created previously. |
lucid films production
|
This was a short production animation made for a film company that I hope to start with my brother in the near future 'Lucid Films'. The logo is based on a painting I did of an eye that has the univers with in it. Which is what lucid dreams create for the dreamer a world where you can do anything. This is what I believe Lucid Films will create in the future films that open a new world to their viewers |
